I am scared of things that are more psychological, not necessarily things that can jump out at me. Like, I have a huge fear of being abandoned. And a fear of drowning. I'm not scared of water, and I'm actually really good of swimming, but the idea of not being able to breath really terrifies me.

Today the local news is filled with images from a volcano erupting somewhere here in Japan. That's pretty scary to me!

I'll bet! Sending invisible support your way.
(Don't look for it, you won't see it, but it's there.)

I tend most likely to be freaked out be something unseen.
My imagination can spin until I just know there's something I can't see that's watching me!
In a book, if there is some haunting thing that is never revealed, it will probably get to me where nothing else will.

Scary indeed! I hope it is far away from your place.

Wars and hate scare me.

It's not far away, but it's not close, either. Medium. Hahaha. Maybe 200 miles or something? I should check on that. I think I am safe where I am though. But I saw some footage taken by some hikers who were climbing the mountain when smoke started coming out of it. It was terrifying.

And I agree with you on hate being scary! Hate and any kind of confrontation scare me a lot!
