It's been quite a while since I saw my last movie. I think it was Deadpool. It's not too bad except i guess the plot was pretty slow.

In the middle of a run of Bulldog Drummond movies on TCM. Very entertaining! I would average them at around 7 or 8 out of 10! 8)

Ive got some of those on DVD but I havent gotten around to watching them yet. Ill have to dig them out.

I watched Godzillas Revenge last night. Dont know why they called it that, Godzilla was the good guy in this one. It wasnt a bad movie if youre a 7 year old. About Godzilla teaching his son how to fight the bad guys and giving a boy inspiration to deal with school bullies. Maybe an 8 for 7 year olds and a 1 for adults.

There was one called Son Of Godzilla where he had a baby. I havent seen it for years, but I think he laid an egg and a baby Godzilla came out. How "he" laid an egg is anybodys guess.

Thats pretty wild for sure.

I watched Blood Of Dracula last night from 1957. It wasnt a bad movie, good script and decent actors. About a girl who is sent to girls school and is hypnotized by the insane science teacher into becoming a vampire. Ive seen a lot worse.

Each Dawn I Die from 1939 starring James Cagney. It ended up being a pretty decent movie. Cagney gives his usual fine performance. I give it a 7 out if 10.

I watched Nightcrawler last night. I absolutely loved it. I may be a bit biased with Jake Gyllenhaal being my favourite actor, but he really is brilliant as the sociopath who films violent crime and accidents around the city at night. He gets so bad that he starts interfering with crime scenes and even fabricating his own to get the best possible camera angles and shots. It's strange because the world that this film is set in, to some extent doesn't exist anymore. With every man and his dog owning a mobile phone with cameras that have better resolution than the camera that Jake uses. TV networks now have almost unlimited footage of an event with mobile cameras clicking away from every direction. Anyway loved the movie. 9/10.

Batman vs Superman 8/10 for the action-factor....but if you are a DC Comic fan you are going to have issues with this movie. They take a LOT of liberties with the story. Overall...probably a 7 Affleck was great as The Bat.

"The Babadook", not sure if I have got the spelling right. Horror movie about an evil spirit who comes out of a book and haunts a widow and her son. Not too bad. 7/10.

The brilliant, "Sleepy Hollow" directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. When these two guys get together they rarely disappoint. The cinematography is brilliant and the whole town and surrounding forest have a dark gothic look. This movie was made way back in 1999, but for me, it stands up to just about anything out there now, and has aged very well. 9/10.
