I just watched Fool's Gold with Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. It was actually pretty good! There's a little romance, a little action, and a lot of treasure hunting. It's entertaining and funny throughout!

The Trip to Italy. Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon

Funny Brittish humor in Italy. I enjoyed the first film they did and this one was a nice follow-up.

The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari. Unusual film from 1919, kind of draggy and contrived even for a silent film, but the settings and production design were very weird and unusual. Also a creepy soundtrack.

That's a real classic, and a landmark film if ever there was one. A great piece of German Expressionism. I've seen it a bunch of times, but one of the most memorable was at a theatre where it was double billed with F. W. Murnau's Nosferatu. A live jazz band from San Francisco accompanied the films with their own original scores (which were dissonant, weird, and fanastic!)

Thats the way this soundtrack was. It was some kind of a chamber group.

Here Comes The Boom was on the other night ~
It was hysterical! Great family movie, but enjoyable without kids around too!

Last theater movie I saw was Guardians of the Galaxy ~
I fell asleep three times and was very happy when it ended!

Those Ken Burns specials are the best. Ive seen the ones about the civil war and jazz. I started to watch the one about baseball but didnt see the whole thing.

Last night I watched The Gay Divorcee with Fred and Ginger. Not as good as some of their other flicks, but not a bad show. The end production number of The Continental was really cool. It ran about 10 or 15 minutes.

The Great Gatsby, a stunning production, I'd call it LUSH!...two of my very fave actors turned in a brilliant performance...Leonardo, and Toby Maguire!

Loved the music too!...GREAT JOB BAZ! ( one of my fave directors )

I give it a 10!
