The discriptions of your meals always makes me hungry, BH. You should write a food column.

Well actually Im not much of a cook. I just throw stuff together and hope it comes out halfway decent. Tonight I had a store bought microwave pizza and cold slaw and garlic bread. Dosent take much talent for that.

Spent late last night shooting pool with my DIL's Mom who recently moved here from Colorado and getting to know one another better. We are planning another outing soon and it seems we've both "made a new friend"!

Interesting, Suzy. Im not crazy about turnips but Ill give it a try with beets. I made some farmers cheese, its about ready. I had a gallon of milk that was sour when I bought it so I put a little salt in it and let it sit for a week or two. Strain the water out and you got some pretty good stuff. Kind of like cottage cheese but with a tart flavor. Good on tacos, stuff like that.

Nothing especially made me happy today except I got all my trash burnt. My garbage cans are all empty now. Big deal.
