Glad Im back from my trip to the states I do every couple months. Tiring trip I never look forward to it. It wasnt too bad this time. Minimal road construction, short border wait, got back before dark.

The very first one? Probably Pablum or Gerbers. Yesterday, a bacon burger from Burger King.

When I lived in MEX, the 1st things we brought back from stateside were Dove soap, Lawry's seasoned salt, and Kraft cheddar cheese...

It was good, Big greasy thing but good. I get Metamucil and Miracle Whip and coffee and dog food when I go there. Some things you cant find here. This isnt a big tourist area where you can find Gringo stuff like in the bigger towns. Coffee here is 20 dollars a can and thats only if you can find it. Everyone here drinks instant. It seems odd, but instant coffee is cheaper than in the states. Mex Metamucil is enough to gag a maggot and is expensive. If you buy what the locals buy you can get by pretty cheap.
