You are not supposed to aim for the backside in sparring. :snooty: :hand:

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

The one doing the hitting, yeah, but that other one just looks sad

Kidding. I've always thought sparring would kick stress in the butt 8)
Believe me Gravy it does. It has always worked for me. If you are on your own a training session will do. Skipping, Bag work, sit ups, pull ups, push ups etc. If you really put in the hard work your stress will float away, Although your body will be tired it will get easier with each session, and if you work out to your fav music you may just come to enjoy it. :D

Run! Also, I'm a firm believer that I perform better at work when under stress.

I feel the same way! (Not the running bit though, I can't run to save my life  )
When I was in school, I got the most work done in the days right before something was due. Even if I started working on it weeks ahead of time, I didn't really start cranking things out until the deadline was looming!

Listening to an instrumental song called Weightless by Marconi Union. A British band and a group of scientists have made the most relaxing tune in the history of man. This was a big claim and some people hate it but I have found it relaxing.

I also find Comfortably Numb almost as relaxing.

Listening to music either loud of soft one, depends on what I feel at that time.
But for hard stress, I will go to sleep, it's effective for me.

Two things and two things only seem to ease my stress; cleaning and listening to classical music. Sometimes together, but often apart. I whole heartily glean peace from order so both of these fit the bill.

I aggressively clean and listen to music. But I need both to really relax.

Where I used to live we had a wood stove for heat and we used a lot of firewood. What was relaxing for me was to cut up a cord of wood.
"I planted some birdseed. A bird came up. Now I dont know what to feed it." Ramblings of a retired senile mind.
