@zeldas_lullaby That story about the dead fish is really sad. We once had two goldfish named Romeo and Juliet. Romeo kept jumping out of the tank. We found him once on the ground flopping around trying to breath. We returned him to his tank and he seemed to be fine. The next day I went to check on the fish and I felt a squish. I had stepped on Juliet. Romeo was still alive swimming around the tank. My brother came home to find Romeo dead on the ground. They lived up to their names admirably. I didn't want anymore fish as pets after that.

Oh, Mel, I have nightmares about that sort of thing! I mean, they're not terrifying nightmares, I suspect they have some symbolic interpretation, but oh, fishies flying from the tank makes me so sad!

That photo I posted was of my betas. I loved them, but... they didn't love each other. I had to separate them with a divider. Then, they just failed to thrive, despite my heroic efforts to provide a nice tank. It broke my heart so bad...

I like how yours were named Romeo and Juliet! I just remembered now that my beta fishies were named Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester! HA HA HA HA HA!!! I'd completely forgotten that!
