You can still get records and players. But from what Ive seen of them they arent up to much. Mine is a 1971 combination Zenith 8-track cassette and record player and am-fm radio. It works like new.

Im listening to...All things are as they were then except... YOU ARE THERE. CBS news covers the sailing of the Mayflower. I listened to one before that where CBS covered the assasination of Abraham Lincoln.

I had close to 200 of them but I put the good ones on cassettes and CD and got rid of the tapes. 8-tracks had a better sound quality than cassettes but they had a nasty habit of turning into birds nests. Same with records, they were great and had better sound but storage was my problem. Ive got a few left, but I put most of them on CD and gave the records away.

Right now Im listening to my dog crunching her dog food.
