Nothing special. Just potatoes, celery, onions a cube of real butter, salt and pepper and milk. Throw it all together and cook on low heat until everything is soft. I add a chopped up jalipino to spice it up. Leeks would be good in it.

Hmmm, last thing I made was a crappy toilet paper roll speaker for my ipod.

Food wise, I cooked a sausage bagel sandwich the other day. It was really good.

Suzy, I think you will like it. Its nothing fancy, but it sure is good

Mickaila, Thats interesting. How do you make something like that? Toilet paper has a lot of uses, Ive used it for oil filters in the older cars and for cleaning CD,s but never speakers.

Today I had to make another shelf to put more junk on.

I enjoy BOTH fancy /gourmet and all simple /peasant /comfort food dishes...
Hard to beat meat loaf, a grilled cheese sandwich, split pea soup, etc...

Today I'm making mom's " go-to " dish that she got from her mother...

MEAT N' CABBAGE W / ONIONS

Throw chopped meat in a pan w/plenty of onions and sliced cabbage, a bit of oil, loads of garlic, Worcestershire sauce, some tomato paste, beer, mushrooms, corn, seasoning to taste... That's it!

Great dish for leftover veggies..
Variations.............: I've added taters beans, peas, julienned zucchini, carrots, celery, yams, etc...
