Do you prefer E Book or Paper Book

For the most part, I prefer paperback. I like to read when I am in bed or lounging on the sofa.
I find electronic books are good for computer usage type things. But, I don't think I will ever buy a Kindle. :wink:

Definately paper, my favourite summer activity is sitting with a book and a glass of wine in the sunshine, I could do it all day...Can you see an ebook reader well in the sun? I've never used one.

Seems so far paper is winning, you have to wonder if the same will be true in 50 years.

Paper every time, but I believe the Kindle2 is really becoming popular. People say you can read it anywhere, even outside in the sun. I don't know because I've never even seen one.

Anyone own a Kindle?

you don't always need an ebook reader. As for which, I enjoy both. As long as the story is good.

I like paperbooks. I feel every book I've read. Ebooks are featureless.

I certainy prefer ebook readers, they are much cheaper, can always be recieved immediately online, never sabotaged, and you can hold 100 vooks in the palm of your hand.

Both modes are equally good and have their own importance. Personally, I like paper books that give me unique feeling of reading. E-books are useful if someone needs latest information. E-book give us more options to select.

I had an eBook before and wouldn't mind getting a new one. There is something great about having an actual book in your hands but I did find some benefits to the eBook. One them was reading without a light, and also after I saw the thickness of the book that I had read on it I was happy I didn't have to carry it around.

I have a Sony Reader and really enjoy it. There are both advantages and disadvantages to it.

Advantages:
*Easier to travel with -- can take multiple books on a vacation and it doesn't take up any space in your luggage
*You can read easier while you eat or do other things because you don't have to hold the book open (my husband likes to read it while he shaves)
*Better for people with allergies -- less accumulation of dust (I definitely have this problem. I love my paper books, but they do get dusty)
*Privacy -- No one can see what you're reading, so you can read whatever questionable book you want! :lol:

Disadvantages:
*It takes getting used to not reading a paper book
*You can't read while a plane is taking off or landing
*If you have only one reader and are traveling, your significant other or someone else will often ask if they can use it when you want to! :lol:

*There is always the chance of it getting broken or stolen -- that's a way more expensive loss than a paper book for the most part

I have to say that I read my fair share of paper books, but I also use my reader quite a bit. I would say that e-book readers are INVALUABLE while traveling. I have left books in hotels because I didn't want to carry around the bulk after I finish reading them. It also gives you less space in your luggage when you carry multiple books with you. If you travel a lot, I would definitely recommend getting one just to lighten your load.
