I have 5 in total. Two are unique to themselves and three were add-ones to make one piece.

Despite having been a US seaman, I never gave into getting a tattoo. My father had one placed on his left bicep that had the name of his first wife, my mother, written inside a heart. It would cause horrrendous fights between him and his second wife when they got drunk. One night, during one of their awfully loud bouts, he took sandpaper to it. I am slowly writing episodes like this on dysfunction which I plan to build into a book, which will include the good (what there was of it), the bad, and the ugly.

nope, no tattoos, but I do like to mess around with indian henna tattoos sometimes. they last for about two weeks and are painless and pretty :)

No way. First off, I have very low pain tolerance when it comes to anything poking at my skin. Second, there's not a single thing I could ever get a tattoo of that I wouldn't get sick of in about two months (and despite laser treatments, those buggers just do not ever really come off). Besides, I just never really wanted one. I have no problem with them on other people, though.

I would like a tattoo. I don't mind tattoos but I think it's weird if you can't see any part of a person's body

Well you know what they say about opinions and A-holes. Everybody has one and some people are one. At least you finally said something we can both agree on. Not the "branding" part...lol!

Anyway yes...and working on the artwork for my next. :D

I don't have any, but I want some. I just don't want to get any that does not have any meaning behind it. I mean it is going to be on my body for the rest of my life. I also don't want to end up with one that turns into a fad. For example, I was going to get the treble clef and bass clef heart tattoo, though redesigned with a lot of additions and a phrase to make it unique, but it turned into a fad of which every girl that I saw had it. Now I have to create a different design to symbolize my love for music.

I really dislike tattoos because it's permanent and most aren't all that nice.
