A race of no end

Post by Afolabi JaySmile »

Life is a race;
A race we started even before we were born.
Little we know;
that a journey of no rest we've embarked on.
Many semen were released in the love play,
but only one was indeed needed
to break the egg in the womb
We then struggled and fought so tirelessly
That we pushed other things on our way forcefully
And in the end line
We succeeded and emerged as the winner
We came to the world crying in joy
We came on purpose
We came for a mission
We came with different motives and visions
We are meant to break the bound
But on our growing up will lose some faith
where focus and determination has hide their faces
We seems to be overwhelmed by the hurdles on our way.
Forgetting we've come surviving long and we didn't pay
The rest semen in the early age are no where to be found
We've forgotten we surpass them and they were dead
We are alive today become of our passion and the strength we used yesterday in the womb
No body promised us a life free of bumps
We have done it before, and we win
We can still do it again, with no sin.
Let's not give it up, the race is a never ending one
until when we sleep and can't rise again.

This is an amazing poem! I loved it! It's also a reminder to us how before we were even born, we fought hard to live. So now that we're alive, we can't give up on life. We all fought too hard to give it up so easily. Life isn't over until you fall in an eternal sleep. Beautiful! :angelic-innocent:
