Where is Love?

Post by versetab »

I want to know what love is

Spent a lifetime breaking hearts

Now it’s difficult to feel that feeling called Bliss

Every life I walked into fell apart

Wasn’t my intention but they say it was my wish

Sometimes I think it’s just too late to be redeemed

Karma has waited this long to serve a cold dish

Will I ever be able to find love?

Or is it just too late

I liked this poem. I could feel the emotion behind it. I'm sure you'll find love one day.

Was the word "bliss" capitalized intentionally? That drew my eye. It made me wonder if "bliss" is being elevated. Or perhaps emphasized. Interesting. Playing around with punctuation is an appealing device for me. I'm a fan of e.e. cummings for that reason.
