No day off for an old cowboy it seems. This book's action seems well reflected in your review as I read this very quickly. I may not be in love with books like this but you managed to make it sound appealing.

Thank you for such a well-written review! I loved how the author mixed the Christian theme into this Western fiction. I'm definitely reading this soon.

The book begins with violence and this makes the ball rolling. A perfect review which is all the more interesting.

Great review. I love a good western especially when the main character is a loyal and strong man. Faith family and redemption make it a book I'll read . Congrats on being BOTD.

This review makes me want to sample this book. I normally don't choose westerns, but I enjoy historical romances and I like the Christian theme aspect. It seems the book is well-researched. That is necessary to make a reader feel immersed in the time period of the story. I look forward to trying this one.

This seems to be a well-researched entertaining book. I don't think this book is for me but I'm sure readers of this genre would enjoy it.

This book sounds great. I myself am a Christian and I love that it has an underlying Christian theme while the characters are not always perfect. I don't really have a problem with violence either as long as its not too graphic. My only question would be if it's okay as a stand-alone book.

Watching West World has kind of gotten me into western stories, so this sounds pretty interesting. Not that interested in religion, though, but I might give it a try. Nice review!

I'm not really into Westerns but I like that this book has other aspects like delving into the children's background to keep the story from being one dimensional. Thanks for the review!

I love historical fiction, and I used to read a ton of westerns as a child- Max Brand, Louis L'Amour, Zane Grey to name a few. I could do without the religious element in this book, but it still looks like it would be a good read. Thank you for the review!
