I like that this is an inspirational book, but it is still written as a fiction novel! It's definitely set in a different time than I've ever read about. It's sounds really inspiring. Great job on the review!

Wonderful review. The idea of symbols used with religion and mysticism is intriguing. Usually not my type of read but I'm going to be checking this one out. Congrats on being the BOTD.

A great review! Sparrow Hawk sounds like an interesting character, and so does the Chinese monk. I just downloaded this book, and can't wait to read it. And I like it that many different culture settings are represented as well.

A very sound review. It has perked my curiosity. Magical realism is a new genera for me; so I downloaded it into my Ipad. I plan to make it my next read. Thank you for your efforts.

This sounds like a very powerful book. I'm sure once the grammar errors are cleared up it'll be a good read. Great review!

I think magical realism is one of the most underated genres in books, for me this book has everything, good story, character you can connect with and a nice lesson, too bad for the editing part though, i still got my copy anyways since it looks like a great book.

Good review. Sounds like a story I will enjoy, depending on how much editing is needed. As long as the flow is not greatly interrupted that should not be a problem. Growing up on the old classics, the extensive descriptions will be a breeze. I am looking forward to reading this one.

The book sounds interesting. I don't usually like to read a lot of description, but if it gets better as you noted, I may actually enjoy it. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for the great review. This my kind of book. This book is like a self-help book that a reader could learn something out of it from the interactions of the characters. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

I'm really interested in this book. You have expounded on the synopsis and that gives a more clear picture of what this is about. It sounds amazing. Thanks for the great review!

Great job on the review! It sounds like a wonderful book for those who like this style. It just doesn't seem like my cup of tea, though.

This isn't a book I would normally read. Native American, Chinese Monks. Snake Medicine Man and child saved by a leopard from a war torn village. Got the free copy did not put it at the top of my to read list. Your review was good that is the only reason I did get the book otherwise I would have passed it even if it was free.

An interesting review. I appreciated the time spent in describing the circular nature of the stories and the book as a whole. It sounds like an interesting book to read.
