I just finished this book, which I got through a blind book exchange, and therefor knew nothing about before I started it. I loved it! Generally I enjoy stories of explorations in harsh terrain, and this was so much more. The tone of the work really rounded out the overall message, and the characters were rich and vivid and believable. Best of all it made me interested in learning more about this time period and geographical location. Can't wait to read more by this author!
