I have two boys ages 3 and 5 and they love dinosaurs. So I am sure they would love this book. I like that fact that it has a moral and lesson included in the story. I agree that the conversation bubbles could be confusing for young kids that read it to themselves. However, my boys can't read yet so I will definitely buy this book. Thank you for such a great review!

Thanks Kdonegan and CatInTheHat for the feedback! Kdonegan, I also have 2 boys and they loved dinosaurs when they were that age - playing with dinosaurs and reading about them. They even made a joint science fair project about them in elementary school. :)

I absolutely love books like this! It's important for kids to see that they are not the only ones who have had to deal with a bully before. It teaches them that when friends stick together, they can solve problems more easily! It also shows the kids who tend to be the bullies, themselves, how not to act if they want to hang out with the fun guys on the playground! When you treat others kindly, you will have friends and you will be happier. Plus, how could anyone not love Dynomike!?!! Great character to learn and grow with! Thanks for your review!! :-)

Thanks! It's always nice when a children's book teaches important lessons and entertains at the same time.

Great review! This sounds like a cute children's story. I commend the author for addressing the topic of bullying and providing children with a strong, positive role model!

Thanks Livre! It's great that the book is part of a series since kids love to read books with the same character.

Another great review, bookowlie! I love the idea of using animals, especially dinosaurs, to give children the opportunity to understand and speak about universal themes. Sometimes it's hard to say that someone is bullying and/or teasing you, but told in a safe way, like books, I feel can open children's comfort level more and talk about those uncomfortable subjects.

I always prefer children's books with a life lesson involved. It's so much easier to teach a child when they seem to be having fun, and this would definitely work with my son, as he loves to read.
Thanks for sharing your review! I'll definitely be downloading this one!

All children should learn to cooperate against bullying. This book would help. Thanks for the review. Not often it takes as long to read the review as the book :)

This is a great review for such a short book. The book is perfect for children and helps explain bullying in a way they could understand. congrats to the author!

Dynomike sounds like an imaginative series. The main character especially sounds like a refreshing character on the theme of bullying. If I had any younger family members, I would definitely consider getting them this book, based on your review. :D

The illustrations are really cute and I love the idea of doing a funny dance to distract the bully.

Sounds nicely done on the part of the author. There are always bullies; learning how to deal with them is so important!
