Th Guardians of Ga'Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky

Post by Gravy »

I've finally gotten around to this series! Considering my love of all things owl, it's surprising it's taken this long.

I've only read the first book, The Capture, but I have two more waiting for me, and plan to start the second book, The Journey, very soon.

I loved the way it's pointed out to the young owls that they must believe they can fly, or they'll never be able to.

I enjoyed it and rated it a 3/4.

I love the series. I first saw the movie and was curious about the book, and was I ever surprise to discover it was a series and was hooked! Binged the entire series. Was even amazed at her thorough research about owls, her accuracy melded into fantasy. Wow!?❤️

This is a great series. My daughter would get the books from the library, and I would read them while she was at school.
