Thanks for the review. Sometimes it is nice to read a laid back novel to read about how it is to become an adult again.

That is one thing that will always disappoint me...having things introduced poorly, especially when they aren't yet important. I love when an author knows how to balance that.

Thank you for your review! I love that the title of this book, as well as the other titles in the Mitosis Series, are names of stages in cell division...each mirroring Piper's journey to her other world! Nice job!

It does sound like an interesting world. I appreciate your objective review. Very informative.

Ok I liked the beginning and it intrigued me! So I would definitely would want to read this book. As a fantasy lover I think I am going to enjoy it.

I will try not to be judgemental and go with an open mind as I know it's not easy to create a fantasy world where everything is developed to perfection. It takes time and experience and if this story is already intriguing then I am sure that with the next books to come the author will write better and more detailed worlds and beings :)

Thank you for the review!

The cytology underscoring the Mitosis series (a cell division resulting in two daughters of equal chromosomes) and the Prophase (first stage of cell division) novel is intriguing. The story open with a mysterious birth on the Vernal equinox (the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere for those in the lower latitudes) that must be kept secret. Piper comes from a troubled family. She comes between her alcoholic father and her brother in a tense situation, and her father’s violence is exposed. Piper is

Reading the review, I just wasn't really interested in it. I thought it was a human having a baby at first and then an animal and then back to a human. I don't know ... I just didn't like it. Thanks for the review thou.

Thank you for the detailed review! It seems like a creative coming-of-story. I like when authors create main characters that are likable, and Piper sounds like a great one. Too bad about the amount of events seemed forced and that the vague descriptions left unanswered questions. Even with its need for slight improvements, I'm glad that you were able to enjoy the read! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I think that the cover art for Prophase: A Present Tale by Mitchel Street is so cool. A book so nice is such a great one to read generally. I like the setting being of college tale. Thanks for mot spoiling the story in the review.

Very different and unique book but a negative that it only received 3 out of 4 stars and didn't manage to get that final star. Sounds good though.
