Love your review. I love a good Sci-fi/fantasy adventure. I also still enjoy reading YA fiction right alongside my teen daughter. I think that Erynn sounds like a great character and I'll bet that my daughter will think so too. Thank you so much for sharing. I am looking forward to reading this book.

Thanks for this review! I'm glad the book was worthwhile despite your initial hesitation. I find a strong and relatable protagonist always helps strengthen a story. Excited to read this one, thanks again for the review :)

Great review! I am not a fan of YA or sci-fi so I'll pass on this one. Glad you enjoyed it.

Great review! I like how you mentioned that the characters develop enough that they all seemed to have changed at the end. Although I'm not a big alien fan, the story does sound interesting. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Congratulations to the author for receiving such a positive review!

Ooooo I love the genres of this book. This seems to have it all, action, sci-fi, fantasy. etc. I also love books with twists and turns. This really sounds like an intriguing read. Great review!

You clearly loved this. It does sound amazing. I do love a good SciFi/Fantasy read. Thanks for the great review!

Thanks for the review. I am glad that you enjoyed the book even though you were a little leery at first. Sometimes young adult can be a little boring, but from this review it sounds like there was plenty of action that would keep me engaged.

Thanks for the review. I thought the book was going to be hard to read emotionally. But it got easy as the story moved on. I still have to finish reading the whole book because the review is enticing. Congratulation to the author for BOTD.

I enjoyed what I read. I have read some young adult fiction. The author did a good job in keeping the emotional aspect appropriate to young adults. I can't wait to read the outcome. Erinn seems to be pretty level headed considering all that she's endured.

I read both reviews for today's Book of the Day, and for this book, it seems to come down to personal taste. Whereas the other reviewer could do without some portions of the plot, this review declares the plot exciting and constantly moving. The other reviewer found some of the characters a little flat, but this review calls them relateable. I value the contrast and will take both perspectives into account as I consider whether to read the whole book. Thank you!
