Do you write stories for children?

Post by Amagine »

I wanted to know if anyone writes stories for children. I know that teen/young adult books are the most popular. After that, of course, comes the adult book writers. I just realized that on a lot of writing sites I join (wattpad, tumblr, etc) not too many people write children stories. It's almost like an ignored field and it's really disheartening to me.

If you do write children stories, what type of stories do you write and for what age? I tend to write for ages 5-8 but lately I wanted to try my hand at middle grade books (ages 8-12) as well. I'm also like writing animal, contemporary and fantasy stories for children.

So let me know if you're a children's writer like me :D . Unfortunately, there's not as many of us as there are the other type of writers. That's why we have stick together and bond over our love for childish imagination and fun :lol2:
