Lazar: "Mr. Bond, bullets do not kill. It is the finger that pulls the trigger."
Bond: "Exactly. I am now aiming precisely at your groin. So speak, or forever hold your piece."

(From the James Bond movie, "The Man with the Golden Gun.")

Generally, it is "Speak now or forever hold your peace."
And, "I have said my piece." (Given my input, finished what I had to say.)

You can, of course, as has been mentioned, change this to change the connotation, and it could be interesting if the context makes that clear. Otherwise, people may think it is in error.

I do agree it might be good to look for another way of saying it, unless you need to use the cliche, the actual quote, or are intentionally trying to convey something different through the familiar.
"We awaken the muse with the spirit of creativity. We entomb it with the ghoul of self-doubt."

That's right, I have a muse. It is spelled MusE. My writing is influenced by the interactions of people I meet - us and ME.

Indeed, it is a real quote. But according to an article written by Anita Singh for The Telegraph, verbal humor has been phased out of the Bond films because Asian viewers don't understand it.

That James Bond quote is really funny. Did he really say that? That's what I mean by suggestive language. Bond then referred to "piece" as something else. Haha.

Yeah, stuff doesn't translate well across languages in general, but I know how it is with Japanese, personally. I always have to pause movies to explain the jokes that weren't translated into Japanese with my friends because they never understand why I am laughing.

For those who say spelling doesn't matter, I noted this sign over a fish counter

A really great reference/resource for writers is the small volume "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" by Lynne Truss. I can't recommend it strongly enough.

This book deals not only with punctuation, but also grammar.
