Had a New York agent for a while, but lost him to old age and ill health. Sent out some query letters but no takers, now self-publish. Interesting website posted here, agentquery.com - I think I'll check that out.

I don't have an agent because currently all I've got out on submission is a novella. They're incredibly hard to find an agent for so I figured I shouldn't bother, especially since I had already found several small presses that accept both unsolicited manuscripts and novellas by then, including one house that's specifically for novellas. I might get one later on for the novels I'm working on at the moment, but we'll see how I do without one first.
