Pencil or pen?

I can't stand writing in pencil. The only time I use one is when I'm marking sheet music or there's nothing else around.

I would have to say that I would write with anything. I was told once that a writer writes when the muse hits. So I always keep something on me to write on and with. So it don't really matter to me what it is that I am making marks with. But for the finial draft its all ways my trusty key board and me.

I always scribble notes and ideas in pen, then go straight to my keyboard

With me it's a mix of both I General write my first copy with pencil and then my second one in pen before typing it up for the final copy

Is it sad that I'm actually relieved by this topic? I don't really know a lot of other writers, but the ones I do pretty much write entirely on the computer. I've always found that my ideas don't flow as well from a keyboard as they do on paper; that being said, I am definitely a pencil kind-of gal

I can't stand pencils. The graphite always makes my skin crawl, like nails on a chalkboard. But I don't even use paper anymore (laptop tablets are amazing!). So pen, if ever.

I use pen to write out my plots and chapter events, and my laptop to do the actual story. Pencils for me are only used as a last resort, or if I'm on the go and it's the first thing I can find to jot down an idea.

Pen. Pencils break too often and need sharpening far too frequently.

It doesn't make a difference to me whether I use a pencil or a pen when I write. I do love having an eraser to mark out mistakes, though.

When I am making notes, I cannot bare to write in anything other than a pencil.

When I am writing, I'm usually writing on my Nexus 7 tablet.

I have recently come to use sharpies for writing, I love how easily the words just flow with them, but I still prefer my old favourites, the fountain pen and technical drawing pens and ink.

I LOVE those jell pens that the ink flows freely from , but I do also like pencils because I can never run out of led. It depends on what I have around me I dont have a definite favorite

I usually use a pen, they just flow more easily when your writing or drawing.
