Effective Blogging Techniques

Post by inazir »

Your blog is the place where you can write creative ideas of your mind. A blog is that much powerful that it can initiate setting up a company so the question arises what to write and how to write.

1. Frequently update the blog, start writing today for your blog and remember; write well and write often. The frequency does matters, write on weekly basis or it would be more better if you write daily.

2. Don't forgot to tag the posts with keywords matching your blog content.

3. Submit your blog to social bookmarking sites.

4. Syndicate your blog with RSS feed.

I've always wondered how to turn my blog feed into an RSS feed. I recently switched from blogger to wordpress and am having to try to figure it all out again.

Any advice or direction?

1) Always write from the heart.
2) Don't be afraid of controversy. The greater the controversy, the more views you get. Accept not everyone is going to like you.
3) Keep posting, even if your only getting a couple of views a day.

I know this is old, but as a Blogger myself I just have to give my input. Each one (Blogger and WordPress) has their own benefits; it just depends on what you'll be using them for.

Blogger is great for beginners and personal blogs, or those who are looking for an easy blog publishing tool that won't take too much time oout of their day.

WordPress is more advanced and is best for professionals and businesses. You can even create a regular website using WordPress. However, it's a lot more complicated than Blogger, and requires much tweaking and customization.

Consistency pays! However good your blog may be, if you are not consistent you are most likely to lose a lot of visitors.
Life is good when you get to do work that you love and are supported by people who not only encourage you, but look forward to your efforts.
