Writing Prompts

Post by Randomgold »

Every writer knows the feeling of wanting to write something but not knowing what. We all need a little inspiration every now and then, and that's what writing prompts are for. So gather all ye writers here and post a writing prompt for our fellow writers to gain inspiration from. Whether it be one you read somewhere else, or something you made up on the spot, all are welcome here.

And, to start things off, here's a fairly simple one:

While exploring the attic, a child finds an old key.

Enjoy, and good writing!

Nora slowly began to nod off, her breathing steady and her back sinking into her little mahogany chair. Before she could take another breath into dream time, a cloud of seemingly angelic voices awoke her.

"We are the Nine."
