At first I was nervous about purchasing "Holding Fire". After careful thought, I decided "why not?" and bought the book. I loved it from the very first short story written by a very talented writer. If anyone else has any hesitation in buying the book, they need to go for it. I promise they will not regret the decision to buy this book.

I'm obviously a little late on this, but sounds like a fantastic read. I'll go get it!

I really wanted to read it but I didn't get the time this month, as I was really busy with my college exams and final review for design. But I will definitely read it some other time, it seems like a good book.

I just joined this site and this is the first post I've read. I looked up a synopsis of this book, as well as a sample of the first story and I'm hooked. Luckily, I probably have Amazon gift cards coming at the end of the month. I will get this as soon as I get the "money" (i.e. gift cards!) to buy it. I'm really excited to start posting in the forums on this site. It looks like a bunch of people like me and I think it will be a lot of fun!

Short stories are one of my favorite types of books. Just enough to get some reading in when you are short on time!

I am very excited to read "Holding Fire" & can't wait to start this book club! I have never been in a book club before. I like the feel of a paperback book in my hand but I love having an e-reader because it's so handy and you don't have to change the page. Ha Ha
