I'm not a big fan about ghost stories ever since I saw the conjuring and I lost a few nights of sleep, but I would consider buying this book.

Sounds like it has potential to become a big seller.

Paranormal books always sell, especially if their based on a true story.

The story sounds really intriguing, especially the fact that it is written from the child's perspective. If is not so scary, I would consider it.

I was able to read the first chapter of this book on the author's website "one john mitchell". This small snipet was interesting because it's told from the perspective of a little boy. The title of the book leaves you with eerie expectations, but the writing was innocent, religious in content, and actually humorous. I am very eager to finish the book to see how the little boy's perspective changes, and to get my fill of spooky ghost stories.

A disturbing though often hilarious memoir, told uniquely through the eyes of a young child. This is a coming-of-age story of a boy, growing up in 1960s England. As shocking as it is, this is a story of survival and a boy’s desperate attempts to save his mother from the madness and the horror.

“Mitchell's overview of then rundown Portsmouth, England in the 1960s shocks .
