Great review! I'll have to look more into it, I'm not quite sure if it's the kind of book I like to read. I'm not usually a fan of being frightened or crying while I read. But i does sound very interesting!

I was drawn in by the title, but the review makes me want to read it even more. I'm fascinated with the paranormal.

This is a review that makes an individual want to read this book. The supernatural interests many people and the boys past makes you wonder what is going on in this book! I want to read it.

Intriguing title. Sounds like a good book, but probably not for me (a highschool student who is scared of the dark lol  ). Also, thanks for the interesting and informative review.

The cover looks creepy and scaring but based on the review it's about John's juvenile experience.

Ghosts? Nooooooooo! I'm a complete coward! Those things are not for me. I only think about it and I get goosebumps all over my body. So even though the author conveys the mind of a young boy I cannot read this book. Also, the topic of child-molestation is not a topic I like reading. Thanks for the review, though!

Wow, the true story of a man reliving his painful childhood, disturbing experiences, and ghostly encounters sounds too chilling for comfort. Not for me due to the heavy themes, but it does sound like a heart-breaking tale. Thank you for the review!

A haunting and disturbing memoir of a boy who learned too early about alcoholism, mental illness and was tormented by his sister. Thanks for the detailed review. Not for the weak hearted.

Seeing ghosts and being abused is a lot to go through for a child. Sounds like disturbing read. Thanks for the review!

I dont think I can read this memoir. The themes going on in this book is heartbreaking and emotional. I don't think my heart strong enough to unfold story of John's life. Thanks for your insightful review.
