Icon Review: The Bonding by Imogen Keeper(with a spoiler)

Post by Milka Ferrer »

The Bonding by Imogen Keeper is a sci-fi romance fiction. The two main characters are Tam and Nissa, a warrior of Tribe Argentus and queen to-be of Triannon, respectively. It is set in the time with both old ways and modern ways. In which the Tam's world was of modern ways where technology is advanced and Nissa's was not.

These two meet in the most unexpected way. In the galaxy. Nissa has to fled from her planet due to an alien invasion along with some of her people; in a pod. Tam finds her and an unexplanable chemostey starts to build between the two.

The story contains sexual scenes which is recommendable to those who likes to read this kind of genre. But I do not highly recommend it to those who are below 18 years of age.

I like the story itself although not much of their love scenes. I particularly like how it teaches you that with love you will do anything even if it means letting go. Also, how responsibility can tear you and your lover apart.

Lastly, it is a book that teaches how there is no boundary when it comes to love as love conquers all.

Honest review. It applies in real life situation, responsibilities if not well attended to,brings ill feelings or even breakups. However, biblical love suffers all things and bears all things.

That is true but it is set in a different world so there isn't anything related to the bible or religion mentioned.

I enjoyed this book. I don't normally read sci-fi but it had romance involved so I had to try it. It really shows how love can conquer all! I agree with Chandra about the second book. I'm a sucker for a series that's good.
