I just downloaded the book! I enjoy books with realistically imperfect characters like Teresa seems to be.

Based on the review, I am looking forward to reading the novel. Do you think Fox had a good grasp of the tourist spots in Italy, or did they read like they came from a travelogue? I think when someone is writing in a foreign country, it works best if they know it well enough to take us off the beaten path of tourist areas. In particular, given the overall story premise, going away from the regular tourist areas would have added symbolism for the book. Do you think this would have aided or detracted from the story as already written?

This is a well written review for this book. It sounds like it has a few flaws but honestly what book doesn't really? All in all this sounds like a fun read that lots of people will enjoy and I can't wait to read it myself. Thank you for your honest review of this book.

I like the way this story sounds. I like a good romance but this looks like it will be not only a good romance but a good finding yourself book also.

I loved the book Wrong Turn Right Guy by Haylie B. Fox. The premise of the book is about Teresa leaving her job after being told by her boss she could not take the vacation she had planned for weeks. This book was very close to my heart because I know how it feels to have a job that becomes your identity, to then loose it to leaving you without purpose or direction. Teresa quits her job as an attorney and goes to Italy for a friend's wedding. The book is a very enjoyable read and flows nicely. It gradually builds to the ending which will remain a mystery, read the book. I especially enjoyed the monologue of the different areas in Italy and how the country varies from place to place. And yes it is a romance but there is a plot to follow not just the romance angle.

The conversations with Teresa and her mother are very realistic, I can imagine my own mother and I having much the same discussions and arguments. The author builds the suspense and has many twists and turns through out the book to keep you interested. Over all I enjoyed reading the book and would recommend it to any one for a light reading experience.

I just read this book. Great review! I found Teresa's character a little stagnant in that she was constantly as you say evaluating herself. I liked the setting and tourists stops though I agree they didn't always benefit the plot. Your review gives me new things to think about in regard to this book.
