My favorite author at the moment is Jodi Picoult. There is something about her writing that makes you want more. I fall in love with every character that she creates. She makes the characters come to life and I feel like they are real. Another favorite author of mine is Nicholas Sparks. His books are so easy to read. There is not a lot of thinking involved which makes me enjoy his books a lot more. The first YA author I ever read was Neal Shusterman. I still enjoy his books to this day.

It's hard to narrow it down to just one. J.R.R. Tolkien of course his ability to create such detailed world that he sucks you right into. I have enjoyed all of Anne McCaffrey's books. I really enjoy her version of the dragon's relationship with their riders. I like Janet Evanovich her characters humor is very similar to my own. And many many others :-)

I could not possibly pick just one. That would be like picking a favorite star in the night sky.
I like Sherrilyn Kenyon, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kiera Cass, Kresley Cole, and Stephen King just to mention a few.

J K Rowling and Peter James, two completely different genres, but fantastic books all round.

Definitely Kelley Armstrong her books are so interesting I can never put them down. I love how she connects her books so all her characters live in the same paranormal world but have their own stories. She's a really amazing author I just bought her recent young adult book Sea of Shadows and I cannot wait to read it!

My favorite author has to be Frank Herbert. Dune is my favorite book of all time, the way he depicts the world and the way he told the story is just amazing to me.
