Mine's a tossup between William Faulkner, Cormac McCarthy, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Dan Brown. I like the code-breaking and the plots his books revolved on.

I've enjoyed reading so many different writers, and each author represents, for me, different expectations. It is hard to place one over another. My current read is Ken Follett - I'm quickly running out of books from him. In my close past, I was enjoying Clive Cussler's books.

My first favorite was Wally Lamb, then I found Gillian Flynn (BEFORE GONE GIRL!), and now its Chevy Stevens!

I honestly can't pick a favorite. I like so many authors. There's Stephenie Meyers, Nicholas Sparks, Lauraine Snelling, Nancy Moser, Janette Oke, and the list goes on and on.

I have different favorites, depending on which genre I am wanting to read. However, overall, the one author that I have ever book from and pick up the new ones as she writes them, is Jodi Picoult.
