You sure can Maud, Jake says the more the merrier. You can be catwoman. Seriously though be ready for an intense workout, he seriously does not stop and you have to be careful of his "batarangs" that he throws around willy nilly.

I can heartily recommend "The Boy who fell to Earth". I think you would like it. Probably not an essential addition to the TBR but it's very funny and the jokes come thick and fast. They don't however detract from what in essence is a very serious topic. Her writing style actually reminded me a little bit of Jasper.

Well, it's been very cold here so I've been holed up reading. Thought it was about time I looked in on my favourite posters!

The new stand-alone Spiderman movie has been getting good press. Will we continue to say "good press" when there is no such thing as a printing press?

Anyway, Gannon, a while ago I remember reading your post about mowing the lawn and having a good giggle, well, the bloke nextdoor mowed his lawn then tidied up using one of those hand-held leaf blowers. He blew most of the leaf litter onto my front lawn and nature strip. I discovered this after walking the dog in the dark so rather than wait until morning, I madly raked it all back onto his property. Guess that's how neighbour wars start!

Hahaha, nice work Maudster, I would have done the same thing. I would love to see your neighbours face when he wakes up and sees all the leaves back on his lawn.

I can't wait to see the new Spiderman, I think it looks great. I think Toby did a good job, but this guy just seems to capture Spiderman's classic humour better.

It has been so COLD. It was four degrees the other morning. I love it.

Happy weekend to everybody. Just want to let you guys know that I am very impressed with Kate Quinn's Rome books. I am halfway through the third one and each one is better than the last. You don't have to be a lover of Rome historical fiction to enjoy them they are a great read in their own right.

I am so happy that you are enjoying "The Hypnotist". I think that many people think that it is just hyped up because of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" but it is a great book. Can't wait to find out what you think when you finish it. If you really enjoy it than you will like their second book "The Nightmare" as well.

Have you finished TN7 yet? Does it live up to the rest? Does it do justice to the series? Is a Junebug born in July called a Julybug? Have I used that joke before? I am waiting until I can get a nice signed first edition to add to my collection.

Anyway no Colleen McCullough news again just checking in with you gals. Hope you are well and enjoying life to the full. I am off to make a coffee and to finish off "Empress of Rome". As I said, I heartily recommend it to you both it's a great read.
