Re: Favorites Series

I have three series that I adore. The first two are by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I love her Dark Hunter series , a rather lengthy series that encompasses vampires, shapeshifters, mythological deities, etc. So any different characters and stories, yyet there is an overarching community that really draws you in. I also like the sub-series of the dark hunter series called The Chronicles of Nick that follows a squire named Nick from the Dark Hunter series as he tries to alter his destiny. That is a young adult series that is a fun read even if you aren't in to romance. Finally my other favorite series is The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. I love reading about Cat and Bones and their any adventures. This is the first series I have ever read that follows the same couple throughout the series. And I love the balance of mystery and intrigue with romance.

I'm reading the well-known Redwall series. But I'm also half way through the Warriors series, by Erin Hunter.

All of Delilah Marvelle's series.
1. School of Gallantry
2. Scandal
3. The Rumor

I haven't read the last School of Gallantry book yet, though. :(

My favourite series is definitely 'The Mortal Instruments' by Cassandra Clare. I love her work and am hoping to start 'The Dark Artifices' soon. Hopefully that series will be as good as her previous one.

Older: Jeeves, The Chronicles of Narnia, the LOTR books, the Belgariad and Mallorean, and the Brother Cadfael medieval mysteries by Ellis Peters.

Currently, I've recently discovered the Change series by S.M. Stirling. These are gritty, well-researched post-apocalyptic novels (but no zombies, thanks!). You can start with the Nantucket Trilogy (first one is Island in the Sea of Time), or with the Change novels (first one is Dies the Fire).

P.S. Also The Dark Is Rising series.
