vek724 wrote:My favorite series has to be Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck. I love everything about this series from the characters, to the drama, the love and the hate. I could also really connect to the main character. I think she is very stubborn at points but its that tension that builds that drives me crazy.

I LOVE that series SOOOO much! Do you know when the fifth book comes out? I think it's called Tiger's Dream. I know Houck just published a novella for the series. I haven't read it yet. :) I think they might even make a movie out of the first book.

The Harry Potter series captured my heart and imagination as a child and matured as I did, so it has secured a place at the top of my series list for both quality and nostalgia.

Harry Potter, as others have said, and The Lord of the Rings, and the Prydain Chronicles, and the Westmark Trilogy. Out of those, the Westmark Trilogy is probably my favorite, and I wish it were better-known.

Can't stop reading these and each time I do, I am just blown away all over again:

The Pendergast Series by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child - No one delves into the dark and twisted like these two can.

The Mortal Instruments & Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare - Angels, Demons, Fairies, Werewolves, Warlocks, Vampires, the list goes on and on. How can you not fall in love with a different look at the supernatural creatures you grew up hearing about?

A Song of Fire & Ice by George R R Martin - Where to even start with this? A series where you want to root for the good guys AND the bad guys. So if you love these books or hate them, you can't help but respect the man for his ability to keep so many story lines going. Although there is that 99.9% chance that they'll be killed off...

Harry Potter is number one, obviously. I also loved The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, as well as The Mortal Instruments (same author. Oh yeah, and I utterly adored the first two books Falling Kingdoms and Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes.

Harry Potter - well, duh. Runemarks series by Joanne Harris comes second - because it's FANTASTIC. I also used to really love Tamora Pierce's series. And the Icemark series by Stuart Hill.
