I love the new arrangement of the shelves! :)

Maybe you should move them, though it seems all right to me.

You are very welcome!

I think you for your feedback and help. If you all give me lots of feedback and suggestions, I can do my best to make the Bookshelves and other features of the site as great as they can be. :)

UPDATE: On the sort all page, I added an extra selection to list books of the month. This is cool because then you can view all of our previous books of the month using the various other sort/filter criteria such as sorting by rating or filtering by one's you haven't added to your shelves yet.

I have a few questions/suggestions...
Would it be possible at some point to group all books in a series together?
And could we have a field for psuedonyms?

Other than that...awesome 8)
Thank you for the lovely shelves

What do you mean by psuedonyms? For the author's name?

I am thinking about the best way to group books in the same series. What were you thinking in that regard?

Good job Scott. I like it. Next time could try to work out an app like that for iOS and android users. The user interface would be more friendly for us mobile device users.

Author...
Currently I have books by 'Mira Grant'
But (hopefully  ) soon I will be adding some by Seanan McGuire...aka 'Mira Grant'.
It would be nice if there was a way to group them together.

And I don't really know...

You mean on your own shelves?

I can definately group them by author. The easiest way would be to simply sort them by author name.

However, did you want to somehow supercede the current process of splitting them up by rating and/or shelf? Or do you just want books by the same author grouped together if they happen to be on the same rating/shelf?

-- 16 Jan 2015 03:45 am --

Actually, I just checked the code to make the change and I noticed that it should already be sorted by author name after shelf/rating. So books by the same author should be listed consecutively if they are either rated the same or on the same shelf besides previously read.

Personally, I'd be happy if I could list a whole series as one entry, I don't know that others would agree though.
I would love to be able to have them in series order. I know how difficult it can be to find the correct order for a series when I'm just starting it...much less just knowing which book is first.
