I would like to take a beer with Caesar, Shakespeare and Einstein

Caesar to ask why he had the idea that the Roman Senate would let him be dictator for life -

Shakespeare to check out if the guy was really romantic or just writing what the ladys wanted to read -

and last but not least Einstein to ask him if he thought it was a smart idea to develop the atom bomb

I'm typically intimidated easily, but I really think I could connect with Reese Reed (Childproofed) and have a beer while we let the husbands take care of the children.

No one, because I don't drink beer. If we changed that for a bottle of water, than probably Tolkien.

Nobody here seems to have considered that their fave author may not like beer either so it would have to be a non-alcoholic get together in such cases  I would happily share a Sprite with the famous Mr King if he likes that sorta thing.

Hehe, Sprite used to be my favorite drink, I drank it mostly in the rare occasions I went to the pub with some people - but I eventually switched to water anyway, much healthier and stuff.

Plus, it really surprises me (based on your nick) that you like King :D

Since the majority of all my favourite authors are dead I would go for Bret Easton Ellis ( American Psycho Author). I have seen some interviews of him and seems like a quite an interesting person. I would go for Fernando Pessoa or Eça de Queirós.
