I would absolutely love to have a beer with J.R.R Tolkien. I love the Lord of the Rings series and I want to pick his brain on how he went about creating his fantasy world!

I would absolutely love to sit down and share a drink with;
Jim Butcher
Janet Evanovich and
J.K. Rowling

I would love to pick their brains on how they created the world of their characters.

Mark Twain. He'd be sarcastic and hilarious, my idea of a perfect beer date.

I would love to hang out with Ted Dekker or Sherrilyn Kenyon. They are two of my favorite authors that I would love to pick their brains on different things. Or even Hemingway, I have been fascinated with his writing and he'd be interesting to have a whiskey with.

Shawn Achor. His books are incredibly well written, and I love his attitude to life.

I don't drink, so it'd be lunch :P

James Joyce, although he'd probably end up in a fight and I'd end up paying for the booze.

Naw. He'd gert all morose on you. He'd be a better choice for the "What author would you like to box with?" topic

I would have tea with Dostovesky
Snort coke with King
Beer with Gabriel Marquez
and wine with Dickens and Anne Sexton.
She'd be so blown away by meeting Charles, she'd never harm herself.

What a week!

Dan Brown and Fernando Gamboa. I enjoy reading their novels and I think it would be interesting to talk to them and discuss different issues concerning their future books.

Emily Bronte. Would love to ask her to write a follow up to Wuthering Heights and tell her she is a better writer than her sister!
Edgar Allan Poe would be interesting after a few drinks. Would ask him, how was he feeling when he wrote The Black Cat, a real short story classic

Mark twain, I think that he would have some pretty interesting things to say about the state of the world today and also Charlotte Bronte same reason.

Patrick Rothfuss.... because I'm 90% sure he created his characters just to hurt me, and I want to congratulate him. Also, I want to pick his brain about his next book.
