Ray Bradbury, so I could find out more about his constant outpour of short stories. Fahrenheit 451 is one book I have to reread every few years, and I could chat endlessly with him about its relevance in the world today.

Cheryl Strayed would be my first choice. She seems so down to earth and genuine, she stands up for what she believes in, and her books (at least the ones I've read) are so inspiring. I feel like you'd sit down with her and have beers and listen to stories and leave happier than you were when you went in.

It would be undoubtedly an amazing experience to sit down and have several beers with Stephen King. I know that I could learn so much from him. He is a real genius in my opinion. That is not to say that I wouldn't enjoy the experience of a "cold one" with many other authors that I admire as well.

I want to have a glass of cheap wine with Anne Rice and talk about her change of heart towards Christianity and what sort of experiences could have caused such a drastic change.

Wow, there are so many authors that I have a hard time choosing. I think Stephen King would be one that having a beer and conversation with would be quite interesting. Happy Holidays!

It would have to be James Patterson, for me, he is by far my favorite author. I love his style, his attention to detail and the way he brings his stories to life. I would love the opportunity to sit down, have a drink and get to know him as a person.

My favorite author has always been Clive Barker and I would love to have a meeting with him...though due to his demeanor and the nature of his books and poems I could see a goth/industrial club as a better meeting place than a bistro. He has always blown my mind with his dark creativity in describing worlds that can seem simultaneously glorious and terrifying...

I would love to have beer with Bink Cummings. Although her books are not what I would usually read, they are completely riveting. She must know a lot of engrossing stories.

I don't drink beer but I would have a cocktail with a few. Jude Deveraux, Stephenie Meyer, E. L. Jamer, Sylvia Day, and John Green. Now if she were still alive, Jane Austin. I just want to pick their brains on how they come up with their ideas and complete those ideas into best sellers.

It'll have to be Mark Twain because his humor just cracks me up every time i read his books. I'd love to meet him in person if ever possible and discuss life matters with him.
