I would love to have a drink with Dan Brown. The way he can twist myth and reality into such a believable story makes me want to go find out if they are true!

Scott Sigler because I love his style and I think he is an incredible talent.
Stan Lee because seriously he's Stan freaking Lee!
Michael Sidden, I know he is pretty much unknown but so far I am loving all his stuff and I would love to pick his brain.
Stephen King because I bet he would be a blast to hang around.

There are too much. I think it would be cool with Victor Hugo as he would talk a lot (as I am more listener than talker). I Would have some questions to H.D.Thoreau but I am not sure if he likes beer.

I'd like to have a beer with Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams because they are both so outrageous.

Live authors, I'd have to say Joe Hill and Clive Barker (I have met both at book signings and enjoyed them). I would have to add Joyce Carol Oates and Harry Crews - both authors whose books have touched me on a personal level. :)

Will Langland (1342 -??) Wrote The Vision of Pers Plowman and has fine vicious criticism of people he does not like. EG (of lawyers) "Sooner measure the mist on Malvern Hills than get a mumble from their mouths till money is offered."

I would love to sit and sip on a butterbeer with J.K. Rowling. I am deeply in love with the Wizarding world she created. I just want to have an in depth conversation about how she came up with it and how she was able to keep us hooked on it.

It would have to be sweet tea with Fannie Flagg, I'd love to chat with her about her inspiration and laid back style. A beer or a bourbon with Nicola Griffith, her mind seems like the most amazing playground, it would be fun to get a peek.

I would have to say Stephen King. I'd love to ask him how he produces so many books so quickly. And big ones too. It's not like they're novellas.

I would love to sit, chat, and sip a glass of wine with Maya Angelou. Her voice when she read was like listening to the sweetest melody. I'd like to hear her laugh and pick her brain about what writing felt like to her and how it changed her life. Hopefully the conversation would go so long that we'd end up in a cigar bar and her giving me some tips :)

I'd have to say Laurell K Hamilton. I'd like to pick her brain and find out how she comes up with the most outrageous scenes possible in a book.

Not a beer drinker here. I'd rather have wine, please. ? But, regardless, here's my list:
Edgar Allen Poe
HP Lovecraft
Stephen King
Anne Rice
Jane Austen

Just to name a few... ?

I'd have a drink with Gillian Flynn. I love watching her writing blossom from her first book to Gone Girl. I'd also love to hang out with George R. R. Martin because he seems like a cool, odd guy lol.

I would love to sit down and have a beer with Steve Berry I adore his books, Anne Rice to discuss her erotic books compared to her vampire series, and also Ann Rule if she were still alive I would love to discuss her feelings of having met Ted Bundy and why she choose to write so true crime novels - I especially love how she gave attention to the victims.
