Romance novels. Something "weird" always happens. I don't need that.

You just have to find something that you can connect with. something that interests you. Civil war, Indians, Spanish, whatever.

Non-fiction, unless its on a topic of interest. Historical romances just don't interest me.

I don't read Horror books. I enjoy stories that make me forget my everyday problems. I just want to sit back and "Watch TV in my head".

I stay away from horror (sorry, Stephen King and fans). While at this time of year I go by Halloween Town's quote, "Life's no fun without a good scare." I take the 'fun' part up as high as possible. I look forward to tricks that will at least make me giggle and who can say no to a good belly laugh?
I detest being afraid so I stay clear of horror in book and movie form. Besides, a lot of movies now a days lean towards disgusting rather than frightening, like Final Destination. (Why did I let my sister talk me into watching it?!)

Non fiction, because I get enough of that in real life.

I tend to stay away from mysteries. Or books that I would consider "old man books" 8)

I think I am abnormal. I guess it would depend on the type of mystery. Crime mysteries are not my thing. Which is weird because I love the TV show CSI. 8)

I try to stay away from any non-fiction and mystery novels. Non-fiction tends to bore me most of the time, and I get irritated when Reading mystery. I enjoy a good fantasy novel instead.
