When I read Silverlinings Playbook for the first time, I immediately looked up Matthew Quick and sought out the rest of the books he had written. I now own 4 out of 6 of his books, and I am excited to keep growing my Matthew Quick collection. He is an amazing author and I highly recommend his work to anyone who loves romance/fiction books. He is heartfelt and honest. Very thankful for this man and his imagination.

Kurt Vonnegut was my science fiction gateway drug. I found him in high school and almost wore out my library card getting a hold of everything he'd ever written.

I believe John Saul was my first that I had to read everything by and then, of course, Stephen King.

Originally, J.R.R.Tolkien, then Tom Clancy. Currently, it's anything by Steven Gould or Kimberly Derting. I'm totally hooked on the entire "Jumper" series by Gould.

Margaret Peterson Haddix! She was my favorite author while I was in middle school and I devoured her books in school. She's still publishing to this day, and I still love all her books!

Karen Marie Moning of course.
I started reading the highlander series which involved time travel and highlanders and I was hooked. Then I started the fever series which is my all time favourite series taking place in Ireland after the walls between the human world and the world of fae fall.

That would be Lani Lynn Vale. Regardless which genre she tests the waters with I still fall in love with all of her books and see myself in the future hopefully meeting her one day at a book signing.
Though I walk by day, I treasure my nights with you.

Being honest, it was Kody Keplinger. I really loved The Duff. So it was just logical to absorb everything else done by her.

The first author that I bought every book was Douglas Adams "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" series (don't panic and always carry a towel.)
The 2 authors I am currently collecting are:
1. Terry Pratchett's "Disc World" Which is a unique blend of laugh out loud humor, fantasy and satire.
2. Jim Butcher's "Dresden Files" an urban fantasy series

For me, it was also John Green. I loved his youtube videos and the first book I read by him, so I promptly read the rest of them as well.
