And the author who wins the "way too full of himself" award is...David Baldacci, for the stories he told actually made his chest puff up with importance. Like the time someone dared to think he was a different author when they saw him at the airport...yuk.

I recently met Barb Heite, author of Beautiful Mess: A Journey to the Universe Within. I met her at a meetup, and she autographed my book!

The only authors that I have met in person were friends of mine who self published their books. I would love to meet some of the authors of the books on my shelves.
