Harold Bell Wright

Post by Phoenix98 »

This best-selling American author from the first half of the twentieth century wrote nineteen books. I have read six or seven (can't recall), and thoroughly enjoyed each. The best known is Shepherd of the Hills.

Wright was a "big city" minister who retired to the Ozark Mountains. His works are set there.

Just curious how many know of him, and have read anything by him.

Additionally, fifteen of his books were made into movies.

(thought I'd bump this up a bit)

I'm surprised he's not better known.
