I, too, am one of the authors who was fortunate enough to be included in this book and I want to thank all of you for buying and reading it.

I'm very shy about sharing my work and entering this contest was really difficult because it made me step outside my comfort zone. Being a part of this collection has given me courage I've never had and I appreciate the opportunity to shine for just a few minutes.

Thank you and please consider leaving an honest review.

Thanks again and enjoy all of the stories.

Kristi

I'm intrigued! But the kindle link doesn't seem to work for me. Can you download it in the UK?

I'm in the UK too - you have to specifically search the book in the UK Amazon store, then it's there! :D

I will definitely be downloading a copy. I love supporting new authors, especially when the work is good quality. The book sounds really good, I can't wait to read it. You get ten great stories in one book, you can't beat that.

If the Kindle link doesn't work when you are outside the USA, you can just change the domain extension from .com to .co.uk and then it will work. Or if is easier you can type Holding Fire into the Amazon search and it should work. The same thing goes for any other country's version of Amazon as well. The title should be available globally from all Amazons.

Also, my, um, team is working on the paperback right now...

Hi guys :D Just wanted to take the time to thank all of you that are supporting this book and have bought or are planning to buy it! I am so blessed, grateful, and excited to say that I am one of the ten authors in Holding Fire! I truly appreciate the support. I've been writing stories since I was five and it was always a dream of mine to become an author. And to have this opportunity arise at only 18 years old is something so surreal. Thanks to everyone for their support, and I hope you enjoy the stories!!!
(P.S. the story I wrote is 'Running with Guilt' )

I'm not typically a short story reader but I'm excited about this book. I think the opportunity to interact with the authors will be so interesting and I'm looking forward to it.

The fact that this book has 10 different stories, by 10 different authors all with different opinions is pretty cool. I think this book may keep my attention. And I agree paperback books are the best - It's just something comfortable about holding the book close and flipping through the pages. But you can't really go by ne I'm kinda old school. But if I do decide to purchase, which I think I am, it will be in paperback!
