Excellent review! It's always nice when there's something in the book that wants you to keep reading to find out what happens. I think that's probably why most people enjoy them. I was wondering that perhaps what you thought was a typo in the word "pasties" was actually just referring to the pasties that a lot of burlesques performers wear to cover their nipples. Having not read the book yet, I wouldnt know the exact context, but could it possibly be that?

Sounds like a great book! I've been on a medical book/t.v. show kick lately so this is something that interests me and I'm excited from your description of the book to actually read it.

One of the most interesting things I love of about medial thrillers is, if you are science graduate like me who loves science, you find yourself cementing your knowledge and learning new things. All this while being placed on the edge with an interesting story, spurring you to carry on reading.
