So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

Big Appearance Changes -- Bear with us!

Post by Scott »

Today I will start the process of implementing a new template I designed for OnlineBookClub.org. This new template will be much more responsive and mobile-friendly.

OnlineBookClub.org is over 10 years old. When I originally made it, smartphones didn't even exist yet. A lot has changed since then, not just mobile phones. I've made a lot of adjustments over the years, but it's time for a full makeover.

In the transition process, please bear with me. OnlineBookClub.org is a huge website with literally millions of pages. There are many different features and many different sections. It will take some time to switch to the new template and style on all the pages. There may be some glitches. There will certainly be some pages that will look awful at first while I get them to play nice with the new template.

Thank you,
Scott

Sounds good! I am glad you are the one doing the techy stuff and not me. I would probably accidentally crash the whole system! Seriously, thanks for everything you do. :)

Thank you scott for putting up the new template. But i have one suggestion/query. Why does the user profile is not in any of the scroll lists on the home page. I think hat it should appear in one one of the scrolls as soon as we log in. If it is somewhere else where i have to go searching does not appeal to many people.
If i have overlooked it and i am unable to find it, then just forgive me and guide me where to find my profile information. I am new to the club.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

Scott, thanks for the update. I only joined in December, but I found navigation ungainly. This such an improvement.

Since the update, I've not been receiving notification emails. I get the BOTD announcement, but none regarding PMs and whatnot. I've also noticed that I don't have the one click option to subscribe to forums/topics, or to bump topics?

Do you mean where you set up your profile? If so, you can find a link between the FAQs link, and the PM link :tiphat:
