Error in blogger review database

Post by Lincoln »

I selected a book and sent in a receipt for the first posting about a week ago for a book, but now on the website it says:

According to the database, you did not forward a valid Amazon receipt for this book on Sep 04. Your selection to review this book has been canceled.

However, I DID forward the receipt in exactly as expected and noted in the receipt that it was for the purchase of this book. I've already read and reviewed the book, but now the status is wrong on the website and I can't send in the blog link.

Thanks!

Hi @Lincoln I'm seeing that you selected the book on the 4th but didn't send an email until the 6th. When the email on the 6th was sent, an automatic reply was sent to you stating that the email did not appear to be valid.

That was a separate email I sent in because I didn't have a form box to send in the final blog post URL but the php page said to submit through the form box (conflict between what is said on the page and what exists) but when it sent back the error I realized it wasn't a correct place to send in contact questions.

I sent in the actual receipt on the 4th after purchasing the book and that one didn't generate any errors. However, my guess is that the system doesn't actually scan through the email for email addresses (my amazon account email address is different from the email for communications) and I mentioned the other email in the forward. I just checked and the forwarded email went into the system with no errors returned.

Since it doesn't mention anywhere that the emails need to match I didn't think this would be an issue, but I'm guessing that is where the problem arises from.

The email I sent in the receipt for was from [email removed]. I don't have an amazon account associated with the [email removed] email address currently, but going forward I can make one if the system only reads the from address field.

I have similar, but not the same issues.
I never received a link to submit my permalink of the review for 'Brotherhood of Merlin'.
Perhaps you could sort that out for me while you're at it.
