I love the color references! bookowlie, I would say sophisticated and very chic for black. It looks very pretty. :D

Purple and Green - the colors of royalty and luck. :) Now...my color, black, is a whole 'nother story. I guess you could say it is big-city sophisticated, instead of the color of evil :?

I'm thinking that black represents the black, flowing robes of Cambridge professors who are very wise, well read, and sophisticated .... in other words ... very bookowlish.
